Memini is a quiet place to keep track of how your body feels. This page explains what we collect, where it's kept, and who can see it. Plain words, no surprises.
What we collect
When you sign in with Apple, with your Google account, or with an email code, we receive an account identifier and an email address. Apple and Google also pass on the name you choose to share, and Apple lets you keep your real address private with Hide My Email. During onboarding we ask for your date of birth, gender identity, and a body figure preference. After that, the only data Memini stores is what you log: your symptoms (the body region you tapped, the symptom type and severity), the medicines you take, including regular medicines with their schedules and the doses logged from them, other things you track such as stool, any notes you add, and the time of each entry. The one exception is the time zone your device is set to. The app sends it so that the times you set, such as when you take a medicine, are read in your local time.
Where it lives
Your data is stored on servers in the EU region. Nothing is sent outside the EU.
Who can see it
Only you. No one at Memini reads your entries, and we don't share them with analytics providers, advertisers, or anyone else. The one exception is medicine research, described below, and that only happens if you turn it on.
Medicine research
You can let Memini use your data to train models of how medicines affect symptoms: for example, whether pain tends to ease after a medicine is taken. This covers everything you log: symptoms, medicines, other things you track such as stool, and the timing of each. Nothing more. All of it is health data, so this only happens with your explicit consent (GDPR article 9(2)(a)), which you give in the app's Profile tab. It is off until you turn it on. Withdrawing is just as easy: turn it off again, and your data is no longer used from that point on.
Third parties
None. Memini doesn't use third-party analytics, ad networks, or tracking SDKs.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. One record can exist before an account does: when you ask for an email sign-in code, we store the address it was sent to, so we can check the code you type in and so nobody can request codes endlessly. We delete that record within 48 hours, whether or not you ever sign in. You can delete individual entries in the app whenever you like, and you can delete your whole account from the Profile tab: that erases your account and every entry in it straight away, and it can't be undone. If you'd rather we did it for you, write to [email protected].
